The Rectorate of the National System for Nautical Education (FIDENA) aims to strengthen, through a commitment of continuous improvement, the education process as well as the training of the officers and seafarers and fishermen, carried out at the Merchant Marine Academies and on board Training Ship, in order to guarantee top level education with emphasis on the teaching profession ethics.
Besides, as an education centre, we deliver Masters in Maritime Sciences, specialization and, updating courses for graduated officers, and ratings of the national merchant marine, fishermen and tourist service providers.
